Sazerac
Steps
- Rinse a chilled rocks glass with 10ml of absinthe, fill it with crushed ice, and set aside.
- In a mixing glass with ice, stir 50ml of cognac, 1 sugar cube, and 2 dashes of Peychaud's bitters until the sugar dissolves.
- Discard the ice and excess absinthe from the glass, strain in the drink, and garnish with a strip of lemon zest.
