Ginger & Soy Tuna Burgers

Steps

  1. Finely chop 200g of fresh tuna steak into very small pieces. Mix with 1 finely chopped garlic clove, 1 teaspoon of finely chopped peeled ginger, 1 tablespoon of soy sauce, and 1 handful of chopped cilantro.
  2. Shape into 2 patties and freeze on a plate for 10 minutes, until firm.
  3. Heat 1 tablespoon of sunflower oil in a nonstick skillet over medium heat. Fry for 1-2 minutes per side, continuing as needed until the centers reach 145°F / 63°C.
  4. Split and toast 2 burger buns. Fill with 2 lettuce leaves, the patties, 1 small sliced tomato, and ½ peeled sliced avocado. Close the buns.
